Wow, today my "Peach American Girl Doll Hand Knit Mini Skirt with Cables and French Beret" was featured in the Etsy Treasury "Under 50$ Gift Guide".
I also created a KnitsForKids facebook fan page and I even figured out how to link it with Twitter. If anybody needs advice on how to set this up, let me know. ;) What's left is to copy the "Like" application on the side panel and I'm all good to go.

Lip Balm Key Chain Cozy or Holder
Maybe I was inspired by this rainy and chilly fall weather. I worked on a prototype for a lip balm key chain holder this morning. I am almost done, just need to finish it off and sew on a button. Then it can go into production. ;) What do you think?
If you are interested in ordering send me a convo.

Tea Bag Cozy Treasury
What kind of exciting things did I do today? Now that I am on my own and no longer working as a consultant... I can finally post things on the internet without having a bad conscience. Yeah!
What exiting things did I do today? I sold one tea bag cozy, and I built my tweeter follower base. I voted and I put together a tea bag cozy treasury.
I hope your day was productive too!

Helga's Boutique on Etsy
Meet fellow knitter Helga! Helga learned to knit when she was a little girl, growing up in Germany. She has been knitting and crocheting for over 50 years! All of her items in the shop are hand made by herself.
Her mother and her grandmother showed her how to knit and crochet. Later in school she made her own designs. She has always knit and crocheted for her family and friends, and everyone always loved her unique designs.
She is now retired and living with her husband in sunny Arizona, and enjoys knitting in the evenings while watching tv, as a way of relaxation. She still loves making her own patterns and designs, and being able to share them with her customers.
Her home is smoke free and pet free, she specializes in socks, scarves, baby hats, blankets and booties.

Tiny Knitted Glacier - Knitting Art Picture of the Day (2-1-2010)
"Things are bleak, what with the melting and all, but Al Gore made him a movie star!"
How cute! Feeling a bit lost today, not knowing for sure where to go and what to focus on. Kind of like a piece of broken off ice that is now drifting in the ocean. Only one thing is certain, you can't swim in the same ocean twice.

Knitted Money - Knitting Art Picture of the Day (1-28-2010)
Since the stock market is going down today, the recession is still not quite over and Bernancke has to start looking for ways to get rid of the money they overprinted without causing inflation. Thought this might be a great idea. Even thought I of course doubt, that they know how to knit. Oh and of course it's the time of the World Economics Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

they won't get lost in the snow - Knitting Art Picture of the Day (1-26-2010)
"My hot pink mittens are not as warm as these but do the job even when crusted over with snow."
by looseends on 13 Dec 07
I chose this photo because it reminds me of home and how we went sledding falling off the sled and then trying to pick off every little bit of snow stuck on the mittens. Or sometimes eating off the snow because we were too lazy to go home for something to drink.

Creativity ( female) Number Two - Knitting Art Picture of the Day (1-21-2010)
This is the second, smaller version of my study of female creativity.
The circle refers to the creative as well as the reproductive cycle.
The background is knitting with interwoven threads. This is then covered with sheer fabrics, free machine stitched, and then burnt with a heat gun and soldering iron.
I like to tell women's stories by using women's crafts.

Little Knitted Football - Knitting Art Picture of the Day (1-14-2010)
"Knitted by me, from my pattern. But I've got questions...Is the colour right? Should it be darker? What about the stitching? Is there too much stitching or too little.
You see I'm British, I know it's supposed to look like a rugby ball other than that I'm lost."
